For Those Who Support Others
Why this Matters
Grief is one of the most universal human experiences — yet most professional training programs offer little preparation for it. Practitioners often find themselves supporting clients, students, or patients through loss without the tools to do so confidently.
Light Movement’s professional education programs bridge that gap. Our curriculum is grounded in nervous system science, trauma-informed care, and embodied practice — giving professionals practical skills they can integrate immediately.
Continuing Education (CE):
Accredited continuing education for licensed professionals. Our CE programs cover somatic approaches to grief, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed facilitation.
- CEU credits available for eligible professionals
- Offered as multi-session courses and intensive formats
- Live virtual and in-person options
Yoga Teacher Training (YTT)
Specialized grief-informed modules for yoga teachers and movement professionals. Learn to hold space for participants navigating loss — with skill, groundedness, and appropriate boundaries.
- Trauma-informed methodology
- Applicable toward YTT continuing education hours
- Designed for teachers at all experience levels
University & Institutional Partnerships
We work with university programs, healthcare systems, and training organizations to integrate grief-informed, somatic content into existing curriculum.
“This gave me language and tools I didn’t have before. I use what I learned every week.”
“Finally — training that addresses the body, not just the mind.”
