For People Experiencing Grief
What to Expect
Grief can feel isolating, disorienting, and hard to put into words. Our classes aren’t about fixing or processing on a timeline — they’re about helping you feel less alone in your body and in your experience.
Each session brings together gentle movement, breath, and community presence. You don’t need to share your story. You don’t need to perform wellness. You just need to show up.
A typical session includes:
- A grounded, welcoming opening led by a trained facilitator
- Guided movement and breath practices rooted in nervous system research
- Space for quiet reflection — no talking required
- Optional community connection at the close
Session details:
- 60–90 minutes in length
- Small group format — intentionally kept intimate
- Available in-person and online
- Sliding scale and subsidized access available
Who leads these sessions?
All Light Movement facilitators are trained in trauma-informed care and somatic-based grief support. They create space that is calm and free of pressure. No session will push you beyond what you’re ready for.
