Beyond Words: A Somatic Approach to Growing with Our Grief explores how we can move through loss by engaging the body, the nervous system, and the innate wisdom within us. This 60-minute session introduces participants to the science and practice of somatic healing, with accessible tools that support integration, resilience, and meaning-making.
For this Renewal session, Iliff is partnering with the LIGHT Movement (Love In Grief, Held Together), a somatic-based organization dedicated to supporting individuals and communitiesthrough grief, loss, and healing. Their mission is to provide accessible, evidence-informed practices thathonor the body’s innate wisdom, with a vision of creating peaceful communities where no one grieves alone. LIGHT believes healing happens in connection.

The COVA Conference is amongst the largest victim services conferences in the country. Over three days, in 80 workshops, and featuring two keynotes, participants learn new skills and best practices for the victim services field. The COVA conference typically hosts over 1,000 attendees from government agencies, district attorney offices, law enforcement, victim services field professionals, victim advocacy non-profit organizations, as well as crime victims and survivors.
